The ideal candidate will bring a strong command of NetSuite and a solid foundation in accounting operations. This is a systems-forward role-perfect for someone who enjoys optimizing processes, reducing manual tasks, and using ERP functionality to improve financial reporting and month-end close timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, with a focus on automation and optimization using NetSuite.
  • Perform advanced NetSuite reconciliations across key accounts, including Prepaid Expenses, AP, and intercompany bank activity.
  • Analyze current accounting workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements leveraging NetSuite features and custom reporting.
  • Configure and maintain NetSuite modules related to accounting operations; troubleshoot discrepancies and streamline journal entries.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in alignment with US GAAP.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment across departments.
  • Support audit preparation and documentation within NetSuite.
  • Assist with ad hoc NetSuite reporting, saved searches, dashboards, and other system-driven insights.
  • Contribute to developing internal best practices around NetSuite usage and month-end close procedures.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of NetSuite experience, ideally in an accounting-heavy environment.
  • Demonstrated success in using NetSuite to reduce close times and modernize accounting workflows.
  • Previous experience supporting a new or recent NetSuite implementation.
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and hands-on experience with financial reporting.
  • Able to work autonomously and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
